Hi! I’m Kathryn

At 7 years old, somehow, I already knew I wanted to be a nurse. My mother saved all of my school stuff and gave it to me as a present on my graduation day from high school. When I looked through all the wonderful memories. I found a cute little ‘about me’ paper and it was asking what I wanted to be when I grew up and my answer was a nurse. Going through school I was an average student and didn’t think I had what it took to be a nurse. I started my journey trying to get into nursing school at a small community college. I worked during the day and went to school at night. After about a year, I got the letter that I was accepted into the night nursing program. I was so excited to start the process. Nursing was hard, but I made it.

I am a registered nurse and have been in the healthcare field for the past two decades. I received my Associate's from Mass Bay Community College, Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and my Master of Science with a focus on Nursing Leadership from Framingham State University.
